Yea they've dropped from 2500 though and I offered 1500 and they said they wouldnt go any lower plus theres lots of new parts on it too.

that's a pretty good deal, if it's a bc truck. it should be rust free.
but, the 86 has a smaller engine compartment as they used a 2.8 v6 in those before the 4.0L. so a 4.0L won't fit. you'd have to cut the firewall to make it fit. that and the motor mounts are in a different location.
i know this one is a 2.5, but still, the 4.0L won't fit. and that's the only tranny that will work too, if it's the ax5. but i think some older ones had a borg warner t5. either or....
