Default Codes PO138 & PO141

Hi, I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 the check engine light is on and I need to get it smogged. It failed a smog test in Calif. It was scanned and this info and these codes came up:
PO 138 02 sensor circuit high voltage bank 1 sensor 2
and code PO 141 02 sensor heater circuit bank 1 sensor 2
I need to get it fixed and I just don't want to get ripped off. Any help on what it is and what it may cost? Does anyone know if this sounds like it could be a major repair over $500? Any help greatly appreciated. Thank You.
By the way i tried to post in the ask a question thread and an error kept coming up hope it is ok to post this here. Thanks

Yes, bank 1 sensor 2 always means after the cat. Bank 1 sensor 1 is before

Thank you. In your opinion, is it plausible that a mechanic would charge over $500 to repair this?

Wait, I see you are from Commiefornia. Do you have an exhaust that looks like the one in the pic. If so, the plot thickens.
