Codes and how to fix them?
I had my check engine light come on in my 1999 cherokee. I took it to pepboys to have them hook their computer up to read the codes to see what was wrong with my jeep. If anyone knows what they mean and how to fix them I would appreciate it. The first code was P0740 tcc circuit malfunction. The second was P0340 camshaft position sensor A band 1 circuit malfuntion. The third was P1391 and it didn't give a description. If anyone could let me know how to fix these and what they mean I would appreciate it. Thank you for your time.

P0340: Camshaft sensor
P1391: Intermittent loss of cam OR crank sensor
P0740: Torque converter clutch. No rpm drop at lockup
Do you have any symptoms?? Is it going into overdrive properly?

The jeep will sputter every once in a while and make a rattling noise. It will stop accelerating when it sputters and coasts like its in nuetral. Sometimes it is a little sputter and other times it will be a minute or so.
