Clutch squeaking and rough engages

Clutch squeaking and rough engages
I am having a rough time with the pedal play in my clutch. It is very sticky right before it engages and then seems to pop past the sticky and makes for a rough takeoff. I didn't know if it could be the Clutch Slave cylinder or if anyone else knows some things to check. Thanks!
