Default Clicking in 4-Wheel Drive

When ever I engage 4 wheel drive, there is a clicking sound that occurs whenever I go to make a turn. Any ideas? It appears to becoming from the front.

I was turning around on a dirt road getting ready to go in the mud. It has happened when I drive in the sand to and turn.
