Default Cleaning electrical connections

87 XJ 4.0

So.. I removed my fuel pump relay and noticed the connections on the relay and inside the fuse block are all white and corroded. What would be the best way to clean all that inside the block. I was thinking a can of electrical contact spray or something.

Any other ideas?

That looks more like old white grease than corrosion. I'd scrape it off, wipe it off, then after it's all clean & shiny use the electrical contact cleaner followed by some dielectric grease.

Ok I'll try that thanks

Add it to the long list of things to do.

I'm not complaining though. I knew what I was getting into when I bought an XJ

That's one of the first things I do, along with ground refreshing and C101 cleaning, on any newly acquired Renix Jeep. Small wire brush on those relay terminals will make short work of removing the gunk.
