The plug for my CKP is long gone so what is the correct connection for a two wire crank position sens on a 87 4.0?

 

IIRC, the wires on both sides of the connector are the same color... if theyre say Black and red, you would hook black to black and red to red. Theres only 2 wires, if you get it wrong the first time just reverse it.

 

negative the colors are red and white from the sensor and to the sensor is purp w/white and white w/black I understand that in a low volt system reversing really isn't that big an issue but this is a recurring issue so lets get it right this time.

Edit: Sorry, cant tell you. My wires are different colors, covered in grease, faded, and its dark out +Im color blind, I honestly couldnt even tell you what colors the wires are...
