engine surge
I did a search but found no info on this problem.Latley the last month or so I have noticed that when I pull up to a stop sign the motor will surge just a little bit (about 300 rpm or so.Wondering if you gus any ideas 02 ensor maybe.It's a 99 sport 4.0 auto 93,000 miles fresh tune up air filter.

I would think it is more related to the idle speed motor.
Might pull it out and inspect for carbon build up and clean it.
