The question was can it be done not is there and adaptor for it? Sheesh people.

 

I guess what everyone is saying is any car cell phone charger will plug into the Cherokee's cig lighter just remove the actual light button thing and plug the charger in. All car cell phone chargers are designed to fit in a cig light socket.

I will say this I had to do a little rewiring on mine so it had enough juice to fully power my radar detector..Probably just old wiring though.

 

I'm pretty sure there is some way of doing the conversion. But as always, people are typically more interested in what the purpose of the mod would be. Specially when it would be much cheaper and easier to get a power inverter that will plug into the existing cig lighter outlet. The Toyota Matrix has an electrical outlet built into the dash, so it could be possible to transplant it into the XJ.

 

I can get commie chargers at my local flea market every weekend.
