Is it possible to convert the cigarette lighter so I can plug in a cell phone charger?

you can get a power inverter that will give you an outlet like you have in the house... but its cheaper to just by a car charger for your phone.

 

uh seriously? its a valid question cause i kno that for a fact cig lighters can melt down your phone charger cause it happened to me, what i did was get a multiplier for it basically it plugs into my stock lighter and gives me four plugs to use as i see fit, and it has one that you can use for a cig lighter if you want

 

That should never have happened. Car chargers are designed specifically for cigarette lighters. If your charger melted it was most likely faulty.

if you get a charger made for your type phone you shouldnt have any problems, when you go out an buy a cheap commie charger this is where your cell phones have all the problems.
