I have a glasspack on my 4.0L. Dont sound bad but not great either. I went with the cheapest way. A buddy of mine has a 95 YJ with a 4.0L and a 40 series and mine is way louder. We both are running no cats too. No emissions tests hear in BAMA

Can't really compare the two, imo. Two totally different sounds and price points. I had a cherry bomb on my V6 Dakota, and it sounded like hell; I can't imagine it's going to sound any better on a Cherokee.

I vote no muffler! Thats what I run. Just a CAT. And dumped it out the side. I know, it's loud. I guess thats the redneck part of me coming out. It actually sounds pretty good. Flame away.

I was running a glasspack and it sounded pretty good but I bought a flowmaster knock-off from e-bay and it sounds 10x better. It's a original 40 replica. I've had the flowmaster 44 and the 50. You can't go wrong with a chambered muffler, they might cost more but I've had the same 50 series on my pick-up for 12 yrs. It still looks new.

i got a 3in flowmaster 40 out of our scrap bin and it sounds great. the guts of my cat did fall out a while back tho so that makes it louder. i had a glass pack for a while and to me it sounded like a crappy ricer. but thts just my opinion.

These guys in full size trucks think their trucks are loud with straights. It aint nothing compared to this 4.0. It was insane.

i got a glasspack...its bad ***...just be ready to not be able to sneak around (its super loud) heres a video of it offroading...
good sound part is about 4:43. it sounds bad ***...different sounds between 40 and glasspack...but glasspack is $25 and flowmasters $60+...so i went with the cheaper.
