I have an 89 Cherokee and the muffler and tailpipe were cut off prior to me buying the Jeep. Also there is no cat just a pipe coming from the motoer and cut off around the tranny. Can someone take a pic so I know about where the cat should go and the muffler? Also the tailpipe which side it bends to and where I should put brackets up. I dont want to pay a muffler shop because I can do this all myself but would like to have a legend to go by. I will be bolting it all together.

 

i will try to get a pic for you, but for reference, cat starts about 4 inches past the cross member and muffler is about 4 inches past that (roughly).

 

You shouold be able to go to auto parts store and buy pre bent pipes for the whole sytem.

 

I am trying to see where the cat and muffler go because neither are on there and it looks like they welded a pipe and cut it.
