Quote: I dunno if it's me but AAL (add a leaf) is a pain to install..I hate breaking leaf packs to add another leaf to em..uhg such a pain in the rear..Also if your existing leaf packs are sagging which most do then you will likely have to add a small block or something to level it out anyways..
If you do add the small block that will only sag the leaf faster, basically AALs should be avoided period.

Oh yeah they will sag that's inevitable...AAL's from my experience always sag whether it's a jeep, a truck or any other SUV....To me AAL is like a TC Drop, a temporary addition and should be viewd as such...and at some point done right..

Not a bad deal for aftermarket I purchased the rear ones for my jeeps. Cheaper than Autozones brakelines.

For the front only if you are going above 3 in.

Front YJ lines will be long enough and for the rear use a Dodge Dakota flex line.

Go to the parts store and ask for 95 YJ lines front and rear. Any year YJ lines will work I just always say 95

A regear will cut down on the wear and tear factor on your driveline. Think of it like this, when you regear everything in front of the diffs in the driveline gets a break because it's easier to turn it all. With stock gears and 33s, everything will be working extra hard to move your XJ. Also keep in mind that your speedo will need a new gear to be accurate. Don't want to get a ticket!! Good luck!!

this list of things to do keeps getting longer and longer. i dont really care about the speedo i will figure our how much it is off by and just do the math when driving. what about the re gear were do you do that, how much???? when??

If I were you I would start getting quotes from your local shops. But it is not an inexpensive process at all.

IMO if you are bigger then 33's it is necessary. But it is more of a comfort thing, with stock gearing and 33's you will lose a lot of power and MPG.

im starting to wonder if i should just go with a smaller setup like a 3" lift and 31's or something but at the same time i love the stance of the 4.5" and 33's but all this just is not in my budget and wont be for some time. idk what do you guys think.
