Get a set of teraflex shackles from www.4wd.com. $63 and will add an additional 1.5-2" lift.

We have been through this with him. He doesn't want that much height in the rear. He is very specific on his height requirements. Whowey came up with MJ shackles being the right height to suit the needs of baller's application and not be too tall for his Jeep. Thanks for playing mudd!

If you are ok with the Add A Leaf setup then the $500 4.5" kit will work fine but will require more work to install and AAL setups tend to sag a bit..Adding the additional cost for new leaf packs will save time and money in the long run...Also you will need an adjustable track bar..I know the kit has a relocation setup for the track bar but not worth redrilling and what not just get the new track bar.. I think it's around $100 through RC.. That should be everything you need for now...

Patience is our middle name here on CF. RC has them as does RE and any other name brand lift kit company. Since you are going Rough Country then contact them for the correct part number for their complete full leaf packs for your 4.5" lift. Then when you order the kit from whomever just upgrade the kit to include that particular part number which you have just learned from your call to RC.

What he said

There's an option online to choose add a leaf or full leaf packs, IF you order online.

I have always used PORC for most lifts that I have purchased and they certainly have that option, but I have always called to place the orders.

If you do not do the full pack lift your AAL will probably sag within 6 months to a year depending on your OEM pack condition.

Especially if you wheel it or put a large amount of weight on the rear, such as towing or hauling. Save up and get the full packs, they are worth the extra money, IMHO!!

Oh yeah new packs are well worth the added cash...What I am doing is going 3" RC lift and add my 1.5" shackles and front spacers at a later date when I can afford bigger tires and an SYE...

x2 That is why we suggested the full leaf packs. After it sags in less than a year you will have to replace the rear leaf pack anyway so save yourself the time and effort and do it at the same time as your lift.

I dunno if it's me but AAL (add a leaf) is a pain to install..I hate breaking leaf packs to add another leaf to em..uhg such a pain in the rear..Also if your existing leaf packs are sagging which most do then you will likely have to add a small block or something to level it out anyways..
