7/16~11mm, to 3-in. extension, to swivel, to Looong 18, 24 inches of extension.
If you tie a long string on the plug of the old one, you can use it to hoist the new one up.
If your left forearm is larger than a Qt. mason jar, you might want to remove the front drive line...
Gotta see it generate at least.... .4, cranking. With that, and that "blue sparking" kind of coil, maybe you have it!
39 psi is too much. will the wrong pump even fit in a Renix jeep? How high does it go with the vacuum line off the regulator?

No, I checked three times to make sure I was testing the CPS and not the harness side. It was litterally reading 0 a/c volt when cranking. And my fuel pressure raises to about 42~43psi with the vac off of the fpr. I'm just going to change my CPS today just to make sure. I already swaped the coolant temp sensor, iac, fpr, A NEW O2 SENSOR, distributer, distributer cap, coil, wires, not plugs because i just bought those and their still good, injectors, fuel pump relay, tested fuel pump b-resistor checked out ok, no cloged fuel/vac lines. Im really running out of options. I really have to get this running this weekend so please keep the answers coming!

Boy, your busten your butt here. I can only plod through the basics. Gotta see 1/2 a volt or so AC from that cps. Also that out of speck fuel pressure might be doing something weird I don't understand. Sounds like the wrong pump? Is that possible? I believe the ECU controls pulse duration assuming it's at a cirtan pressure. With it different I couldn't guess what would be the end result.
Mine runs fine with the cam sensor in the distributor un-plugged. It just "helps" the CPS, you don't actually need it. Idk if something could short there or something and trouble. You could see if unplugging it helps. I doubt it.
Also you didn't mention the Intake air Temp sensor on the manifold. That's the one I coufused with the coolant temp sensor CPT needed to un-plug.
It's resistance specs are the same as the ECT. 7,500 @40*, 3,400@70*, down to 185 boiling.
Maybe if it's toast is why it *** up warm?
Anyway, first you wanna see numbers that make sense from the CPS.

Wait. 38 Lbs that only goes up to 42? Could he have a vacuum issue, or a faulty/incorrect FPR?

Me; "Guess I have heard talk of the CPS failing warm/hot. Usually stalling though. Cutting out. doubt it. Just takes a minute though."
Don't forget Luke! Right On!
No doubt going through some of that will pay off down the road. Well done, and thanks for getting back
