Default Cherokee 4.0 engine swap

My 98 XJ has a great engine and transmission but the bodywork has dings in almost every panel. I've been offered a really nice 97 Grand Cherokee with a dead engine.
Question - can I fit the XJ engine straight into the 97 Grand Cherokee ?
Thanks.

Yes just swap the accesory drive, motor mounts but everything else should work.

Great !
Thanks for the info.
Next question - what is the approximate weight of the 4.0 engine ?
Need to check my engine lifter is strong enough.

Is that 360 pounds ?

Doesn't sound like a lot - I think the 2.8 V6 Cologne in my other car weighs more than that.
