hey it looks like you figured out how to post! i hope my directions were easy enough.... what this looks like here is a bad axle seal... do you have alot of fluid coming out of there? from the picture it doesn't look to major, but if you have a little puddle of gear oil on the ground from it i would definitely address it. your axle seal keeps the differential oil in where the shaft goes into the differential. these do wear out over time. in the mean time check your fluid level in the dif and fill it up if need be.

Yup axle seal.
You have to pull the carrier out to replace it. might as well do both sides while your there.

Btw moved thread to OEM tech.
