Cherokee 4.0 96 to 94 engine swap
Hi guys,
Just manage to fire up my Cherokee after ex-owner parked there for 2 years. Its having ticking noise now. I replaced with engine oil but the noise seem don't go away. I will try to flush my crank case this weekend. I am planning to swap the engine rather than fixed up the old motor. I found a half-cut 94' Cherokee (complete engine with wiring).
I just wonder if I can transfer whatever in 94' engine bay to my 96', will this works? Or Its better to pull out the long block from 94' and fix it?
What is the different between 94 and 96 long block? Are they plug and play?
Thanks
