I took some of my lift off of my Jeep(3in down to 1 1/2in now) and it then started to pull to the right pretty bad so I took it in for a alignment but it didn't help.Pre lift back about two years ago it drove fine and even with the lift it drove great so I'm kinda stumped on what the problem is.I have replaced all 4 ball joints and all the other joints and bushings are in good shape.I also have checked to see if I had a brake dragging but that's all fine also.Checked tire pressure and even swapped tires around so IDK what to do next

My first thought was trackbar, and my second was drag link or tie rod, but then I actually read your thread and saw you got an alignment. Sooooo, idk

Before I begin, my opinion is mere speculation, since I've never lifted my truck, so can't speak firsthand on the subject. That said....
Did you do the original lift to 3"? If so, did you get a longer track bar? If you didn't do the original lift, you might have a longer track bar and not know it, or if it's adjustable, you might need to shorten it a bit. Is your steering wheel straight when driving straight down the road? When you park with the steering wheel centered, is the pitman arm straight back, or is it angled to one side? If it's not straight, that, too, would indicate that the track bar is not right. If I recall, the straight-back position of the pitman arm is a "neutral" position, with no hydraulic pressure on either side, but when it is canted to one side or the other, it is subject to some pressure from the PS pump, causing it to want to return to the center, neutral position.
If this old man's theories are all wet, I know someone will jump in and say so... no prob.

Okay....well, I've known alignment techs to not bother with such things as centering the steering wheel, so if yours is off center, then the ptiman arm is probably off center, too. Might need to adjust the drag link to center everything up. All the alignment specs can read out correct, but still be needing a drag link adjustment to center the steering box shaft/pitman arm.

Well the stock track bar with a lift would pull the axle to the left slightly. That would force the drag link to also push to the left slightly causing the pitman arm to be off center. This said, when the wheel is straight there is slight pressure from the PS pushing the wheels to the right.
That was all just an idea in my head, I've never chased down and solved an issue like this. Keep in mind that I'm talking about fractions of an inch that it's off. It doesn't make sense to me that it was fine with a 3" and now the 1-1/2" is worse

A update.
It seems after driving the jeep for a few days the pull has started to go away,It's dam near driving perfect now
.Not sure what happened or if it took the threats from me serious but it's back to driving straight
. I guess sometimes things just don't make since

I've never seen an alignment read out before. So I could he way off base but isn't that too much toe? When I did driveway alignments I remember reading np231 calls for 1/16-1/8. Doesn't that toe say its damn near 1/4"?
I ask because I'm about to pay for an alignment and I want that **** right. Lol
