Changed mine....I do not hv a write up about it...sorry...
Not very difficult I would say.....
jacked my jeep up...
remove tires....brakes....
remove the D35 cover....
there is a locking nut holding a cylindrical rod...bout 4"-5" long
remove the U pins can be seen between the pinion gears
Remove the shaft....
remove the seals and bearings...bearing puller helps....
change both since u r on it....
check the brake cylinder pump since u removed the brakes...
mine leaked on 1 side...so I changed both....
I hope this helps...I m not a very technical person...
Put back everything in reverse order...he he
Oh yes...the gear oil stinks....lol

well....i changed mine...since i remove the shaft...
I do not wanna open it again just to change the bearings...
yes...u will hv to press the bearing in...no need sophisticated machine...
a rod covering the bearing cover will do....make sure it sit in nicely...

I would say if u do hv a bearing puller it will be easy....
If not...it will be pretty difficult unless you are a diy person...
It sit in pretty tight to get it out....
One thing I learnt that over in States....you can rent tools from auto shop?True?
