What would 2 or more cans of brake cleaner be needed for?

Brake cleaner is used to clean off the residual oil around the drain plug, once its reinstalled and also to clean off around the oil filter once the new one is installed. May not take 2 cans but it makes cleanup quick and easy. Best to clean those areas, and not mistake the residual oil for a leak.

1 or 2 paper towels is way cheaper and not near as caustic on any rubber/plastic parts or wire insulation.

Fram simply glued their seam on the filter and its been known to come apart. I use wix. Also good with a crimped and glued filter. Comparable price. Same filter as maps gold.

Yeah I have never been to an oil change shop ever in my life. Was taught to do my own, and I don't think I could trust a shop to do mine ever lol. Guess the brake cleaner is to fancy for my liking.
