Default centering steering wheel

My buddy owns a 4x4 shop and said I need to adjust the drag link to center my steering wheel. Where is this link at? His shop is way across town and I don't like to bug him about these types of things.

But, where is this part at? Coming from bmws, I know how to center the steering wheel on thos because I did a ton of suspension work in my autocross class winning 89 325I but I know nothing about this on jeeps. I can put on anything but can't figure out how to center the steering wheel.

thanks

there is an adjuster sleeve near the pitman arm. loosen those 2 bolts and use a pipe wrench or vise grips, channel locks, etc to turn the adjuster.

To center the steering wheel you need to adjust the bar above his hand. To adjust your toe, use the bar with "teeth" marks below his hand.

Default only one

only one bar connects to the pitman arm, if you dont know what a pitman arm is you shouldnt be working on the vehicle....lolgood luck.

dang, it sure is.

and just because someone doesn't know the name of things doesn't mean they cannot work on them. my education and work background is in helicopters and my play vehicles are bmws, and neither of those have a drag link, pit man, or upper control arms on them
