CEL Question?
Well ive been trying to figure out my High Idle for quite a while by reading up a little bit here. I replaced my IAC and though that would fix my problem but still continues to happen. What happens is whenever i start the vehicle warm or cold it will high really high and stay longer for a longer period of time. People look over at me thinking i got my foot on the damm pedal. But also when driving it will cause the vehicle to kinda jump also. My CEL came up with a code that said all 8 injectors are bad. WTF??? Is this seriously the cause for this or could it be my Fuel Filter/Regulator ? I was told by the mechanic that it is possibly that because the fuel filter i dont think has been replaced in its 95k life. I went ahead and ordered one figuring it would help the jeep anyways. But what are yalls opinions on this and have any of you had this problem as well?

next time it happens, lift up on the gas pedal by putting your toe under it. If it goes back to normal idle, you have a sticky throttle cable my friend, and will need to lube that sucker up.
Also take off the intake tube, and using some throttle body cleaner and some paper towels, clean the throttle body and butterfly up really well, making sure to spray down all the linkage, and clean the bottom of the butterfly as well. Just try not to spray it directly into the idle air sensor hole.

that should be ok just go easy on it and do not spray it anywhere near the sensor openings

I've heard to mix some powered graphite lubricant with rubbing alcohol in spray bottle, and squirt till it comes out the other end. Alcohol will carry the graphite down the cable then evaporate leaving the graphite on the cable

Negative, I bought it from a civy who brought it over. I will be bringing it back to the states. But update on this thread. I cleaned the Throttle body and that helped the idle part of my problems. I currently have the axle shafts in the back of my car to bring to a shop to have them press off and on the new wheel bearings. Hopefully this fixes my other problem. Also what size is the fuel lines for my fuel filter? Im having a problem getting them off?
