CEL after adding Lucas high mileage fuel treatment
So I was recommended to get some fuel treatment in my 2000 Cherokee classic 4.0 which has about 140000 miles on it. I bought Lucas high mileage fuel treatment and I waited to put it in the tank till I had a quarter left. I was planning on adding it and then driving to the gas station to fuel up, but after I added this 5.25OZ bottle and started it my Check Engine Light went on

I suspect that you did it wrong. You should have driven to the gas station, added the Lucas, and then filled the tank. Lucas typically has to be added to 18-35 gallons if I remember right. A quarter tank of gas isn't going to dilute the mixture enough, unless your tank is 70+ gallons.

a) coincidence
b) an Injector has got blocked by a nugget of fuel scum
( do you have any symptoms of engine malfunction?)
In any case, you need to find out what code is set..an OBD2 reader is about $30
