Default CB Wiring Help

So I am mechanically inclined, but when it comes to electrical, I am lost. I have no idea how to connect the power wires for my cb. I want to have it setup so it only has power when the key is turned to start or accessory. I don't want to have to worry about remembering to turn it off. How do I go about this? Are there any other resources that may be helpful? I have other future electrical plans I would like to do, but again, my knowledge of vehicle electrical systems is awful.

I connected my CB radio myslef in my 98 XJ...to sum it up...its fairly simple. Theres only two wires on a CB, which is a red for your power, and black for ground. Yes, you can use a test light to check which fuse gives out power, but I personally find it alot easier connecting the power wire from your CB directly to your cd player/radio power wire. Thus giving you excatly what you want, which its going to turn on and off (CB) whenevr you start/turn off the Jeep. Find a good source for your ground, and you should be ready to go. Now, as far as mounting the antenna, make sure you mount in on the opposite site of the Jeeps factory antenna, otherwise you will pick up alot of interference
