Default CB power wire?

I feel really dumb asking the question but here it is.. what is a good fuse to steel power off? I looked in the box (01 Classic) on the passenger side. lots of minis and a couple normal 25's. If i remember from a long time ago battery power and ground make for alot of noise interference? Or Battery best spot? I cant remember..

Your best bet would run a new line with a fuse from the battery. I really don't know if you would need a relay.

I just finished my install. I used a fuse tap that plugs into the interior fuse block.

It should be a 5amp fuse thats in the inline fuse that came with the cb. I also run my power from a spare port in the fuse panel and I have a 2amp. No issues at all.
