I use mine only for the trail and the speaker is in the bottom of my radio...So I mounted it back between the seats to the roof. The front faces towards the front of the Jeep. The mic cord whacks me in the head on off-camber spots. The mic hasn't hit me yet, but I have the clip fairly tight....
