Hello everyone. So I have a 2 year old and his first car seat is to small and didn't require anchor points. Now the new seat does but the 98 jeep has none. I Kidd you not. Does the Chrysler dealership install these or what?

Yes there's a TSB to add child seat anchor points for the rear. Give your local dealership a call

Hmm... Post up what you find out. I wasn't aware that this was an option. My local dealership is the worst, and are total crooks so I don't want to waste my time calling them first.

wow i didnt even think of this and my wife is pregnant! i guess im lucky my wifes uncle is a service advisor for a chrysler dealership

Well called the dealership. They laughed and said it wasn't required to have in 98 and I'm on my own. Any one know the part number.

Can't believe they laughed at you. You know your getting good customer service when they mock your family's safety. I haven't worked interiors in a while but I thought there was a federal push to make OEMs produce solutions for vehicles in a given timeframe, although I may be wrong. Either way, sounds like a good time to install the roll cage...
