Cant get torque converter all the way on input shaft
Hey guys i had to pull my automatic transmission on my 93 cherokee to put a input seal on it. Im trying to get the torque converter to go back on but can only get it on the first two sets of splines its not wanting to go all the way in even while spinning it trying to get it lined up. Has anyone ever ran into this ?

Rotate clockwise and push.

What cruiser said.
Also remember you have to support the weight of the converter. You can NOT let the weight of the converter rest on the splines. so as you are turning it support the weight as you try and find the groove.
