Question can a loose track bar cause DW?

i got my allignment done this morning after a 4.5 inch lift and on my way home i hit a bump and my jeep shook violently untill i slowed down. i stoped and got out and looked underneith as to what could be the problem. i checked the trackbar flagnut and it was loose. i tightened it with what ever hand power untill i got home i have but it still does it. it must have shook loose. could that be the problem or should i look further into this or could this just be it?
DW doesnt happen unless i hit a bump going more then 50ish.

it shouldnt cause that bad of death wobble. from what youre describing happens it sounds like they got your toe way off when you got your alignment. my guess is your toe is either way in or way out.

it shakes pretty bad but as for the toe being way out im pretty sure its not, although i may be wrong, the place that did my alignment did a before and after shot of degrees everthing was off by:
before: (degrees)
left camber: -.1 right camber: -1.0
left toe: -5.03 right toe: 7.84
total toe: 2.81
stear ahead: -6.43

after:
left camber: -.5 right camber: -.3
left toe: -.04 right toe: -.02
total toe: -.06
stear ahead: -.01
it seems to be allright but it is just when ever i hit a bump over 50ish it starts to DW and it doesnt stop untill i slow down to about 30 then i can speed back up untill i hit another bump.
getting an adjustable track bar soon. does anyone know a good place to start looking? i found one on rubricons website but i dont want to pay that much unless i have to.

Loose or worn trackbar is the #1 cause of Death Wobble. Followed by alignment, caster and toe, camber is meaning less on a XJ, tire ballance, worn ball joints, then TRE's, then Bushings, then Steering box.

Those degrees measurement for the alignment mean nothing to me, If toe is 1/16-1/8 your good. but I see nothing that tells me where the caster is. and since most shops wont do this on a XJ you should check it. For DW that is the important one.. http://go.jeep-xj.info/ use the alignment write-up here to check.

Check you motor mounts as well I had 2 busted mounts and really had a bad DW. May not be the case since you are noticing after installing the lift but its just a thought.

Just about anything that is bent in the front end can cause death wobble.
