i got a friend who just lifted his 94 explorer and then crashed it can i run his 4.5 lift leafs on my xj

 

I doubt it. But measure perch to perch and see. I mean the only way half of these budget boost were found it by experimenting and posting up results. But I do believe it it worked I would have heard of it by now since the Exploder is popular for other upgrades.

I think also weren't Explorer springs a Spring under set up.

That will make it more dificult.

 

Explorers are indeed a spring UNDER. You can however use Explorer spring perches, U-bolts/nuts, U-bolt plates and a cut up swaybar bracket to fit the 8.8 in your Cherokee.

You could always cut the springs down and create an Exploder bastard pack from them. Not sure how much lift you would get but it only takes time to find out.

 

you take the main leaf off of both spring packs and you basically put you main leaf on the explore pack so then you have your length....thats what i did with mine but i used a spring pack out of a dakota and that gives you 4.5 to 6 inches of lift depending on the condition of the springs

 

yea the leafs are brand new 4.5 lift nationls

 

then i think if you switched the main leafs it will give you about 6.5 or 7 inches of lift...i cant remember exactly how much it gives you

 

yea thats to much i think cuz im only 5in in the front

 

oh well just keep them for when you want to go bigger lol
