Default Can I rip this dumb thing off?

If I take out this rubber sheet from under the engine will it hurt anything like airflow over the radiator or anything?

Its just a splash guard. Tear it off or just wait and it will fall off before you know it.

I think it's there for a little splash protection (very little) for the alternator....ours is laying on the garage floor but when u've had less than 2" of rain in 13 months, u don't need much splash protection.

X2 That is crucial, you don't want the bearings to fall out, they keep the time sequence modulator in time.
