Yes, did it last year. It wasn't too bad, not a whole lot of room, but enough to get it done. Theres a cut out in the crossmember under the radiator. I used a socket with an extention and put it through the crossmember to get to the HB puller IIRC. Took me about and hour and half to do. good luck

I used the 2' breaker bar to work the bolt and rented the puller and installer from Autozone. The rentals are low profile so they give plenty or room to wrench. Ditto on the 1.5 hours labor. Good time for a new belt and as was suggested to me (after the job ) check all the other pulleys while things are apart.

Cool. How about the front seal - what's the best way to pull it with the rad in place...just pry it out with a screwdriver?

just take it out and you get much better clearance to work. Worth it IMO - will likely take a shorter amount of time.

But yes, it is possible

and you take no chances of damage to the rad if its out i believe its better if you remove it i know i wouldn't want to spend $140 on a rad because i accidentally hit it with a tool and caused a leak

yea seriously. It takes all of about 15 minutes to remove the radiator - including drain time.

I hate to pull the rad...I just put a new one in and flushed & filled.

I'm not sure the HB is bad...just chasing vibrations. U-joints are next, then the HB.

Is this the part? Mine is wobbling and I hear a "whoop-whoop" noise.
More noise when cold.

I'm not sure - mine looks solid...doesn't have spokes...or maybe I can't see the thing in the position its in.

If you dont want to pull the rad, chug on down to the hardware store get yourself a sheet if 1/4 inch luan plywood, cut a peice to size and tape it to the face of the rad so if you hit it you wont hurt it.Also if it's the factory balancer I'd change it,but I know you already know that.Yes you have the spokes in yours to if you have the 4.0.(45.00 bucks). For the seal just use a seal puller if you have one. If not use what you normally use there's room to do it ,I would jack the front up and go in from underneth I think you will have to go where it is best for you to see and work. good luck

If it is wobbleing you need to change it before it comes apart.
