A repaint is it. The clear coat has peeling in large sections. You need to get it stripped and repainted.

Dang...was hoping maybe wet sanding it would help remove alot of the flaking? The rest of the paint looks pretty good, except for the roof of course.

it looks like the door has already been reshot... your clearcoat issue is common you can carefully scrape off the clear with a razorblade and have the faded base coat be all thats left but still be ugly...

You could do rattle-can but that only looks good until your first encounter with a bush. Upside is that it's a cheap fix from there on out lol

just buy a can of bedliner and do the whole truck. wont ever rust and wont dent/ chip/ or flake as easily.
