Default can anybody answer this?

ok jeep guys,i just bought another cherokee and it's a 96 classic...yeah they didn't make the classic model in 96(according to everything i can find on the interenet,97 was the first year)it's got the full classic look,trim,mono paint and everything,did a carfax cause i thought someone turned it into a classic but title says it's a 96 sport/classic..what gives here?thanks

i want to say they did have that trim package.. the 96 model was a big change and they added a lot of stuff (forget the number but it was written all over the back of the tailgate for the commercials) then 97 came out and they made it look different but believe they had a classic trim package on the 96.

easy way to find out..get the vin number head to the dealership parts department and ask them about it. They can look it up and tell you what package your jeep shipped with. No questions no fuss straight from the horses mouth.

I have dealt ALOT with stealerships in my days.

Well it all depends on what you are after I suppose.. I generally have had no issues with parts guys now the other areas might just be the horses ****...
