Can i fit 31s

Can i fit 31inch tire on my 1991 xj?

The suspension is stock and no lift.Just wondering cause i could get a great deal right now.

I asked this ? When i first found this site and everybody said 30's was the biggest but if your getting a really good deal then maby a bb lift would be good

thats what i thought cause i was going 2 get a bb then get the 31s but this deal came up so i wanted 2 be sure.Thanks 4 the replies

I have been tempted to try this, but just because it may work on one XJ doesnt mean it would on all. Depends on how abused it is and how much the stock springs have sagged.

They will fit if yours plans are going in a straight line. Turning will have them rubbing.

30's are the largest without having to trim the fenders.. If you can get such a great deal get em then save up and get a lift like say a 3" or higher to accommodate them..
