i have a 96 xj with the 4.0 and i do alot of mudding i want to know what cam i should get i want more low end power with a 1500 to 5000 rpm range

It's gonna take more than just a cam to make more power in a 4.0.

intake, exhaust, performance plugs,wires,distrbtr, injectors,cam is not the way to go..

well i have msd ignition on it with stock plug size and i have 3.55 gears on 31 10.50 15 bfg mud terrains i can turn them find i just want more power is all

Dropping back to 235/75/15 tires would get back most of the 9.5% power loss (mechanical leverage) from the 31/10.50/15 tires. Closer to stock diameter tires would also be the quickest/easiest way to gain back the mechanical leverage. I don't think $600 in the motor would get u a practical 19hp gain.

well she has plenty of power i just wanted more haha but these 4.0 are expensive to make it i guess

Everybody wants more power......and everybody has a different definition of expensive. The 4.0 is no more expensive to make power in than any other engine. More power on a budget......those 2 just don't go together........it's more like more power on an unlimited budget.
