Hey all. Still having cooling problems, though not as bad since changing the fan clutch. What's the easiest way to wire the electric fan to stay on constantly? And is it worth doing? I'm not an electrician, so keep it on the dummy level.
Would probably be cheaper and better to install a 3 core radiator and leave the fans stock. Also, you do not want to over cool your engine, it is designed to run at 195-210 and performance will suffer if you overcool it.

The one cooling fan should constantly be on anyway. If you`d like both fans to run constantly the easiest way would be to snip the hot/positive wire and run it into the fuse panel to a source that only is on when the key is on. I can give better directions tomorrow if this is your goal.
I had the same problem in mine and i ran a toggle swith to mine so i can turn it on and off specially when you off road you can turn it on so it runs all the time
here's how to do that
first pick where to put your toggle i put mine on the left side of the steering column.
run a red wire all the way from one of the terminals of the switch all the way to the battery
run a red wire from the other terminal of the swicth all the way to the white wire on the fan and connect them togther
take the black wire off the fan motor and get some self tapping screws into the bare metal some where under the hood that's going to be your ground
That all you have to do it easy to do and you can control when the fan is on and off with the toggle.

No movement yet. Haven't done much work to it in the last month. Next step is to check for a blown head gasket or cracked head. If that checks out okay, we'll go for a 2 core rad... If not... well...
