I just had a a/c recharge this spring. Held a vacuum, etc, etc. Still, it takes running at a decent speed and a high rpm to start feeling some cool air. The only way I can get it to blow actually "cold" is to switch to cabin recirculation. When set at the regular setting its pathetic. I understand the principle that its cooling cooler and cooler air with each pass, but I would think for as cold as it feels when set to recirculate it should do a better job when set to normal. Anyone else have this experience? Im really getting annoyed with how loud it is when set to recirculate.

First off, Check your freon level, I'd bet your a little low.

Yea, its colder on recirculate then when on "normal". Think about it, when its drawing air from outside, it has to cool the air in one pass. So say its 100degrees outside, how cold do you think its gonna be able to get it? Not very.
