Quick question with regard to the early Jeep A/C systems originally designed around freon...

Are there any issues changing over to the modern refrigerants I should be aware of?

Yes, the oil in an R-12 system needs to be changed from Mineral/Alkybenzine to POE oil.

 

You going to have many leaks r-12 has much bigger partials cant slip through fittings and such but if your switching to r-134 like i did r-134 has much smaller partials i had it oozing out through most connections.
