A/C not blowing cold
I had my compressor replaced about two years ago. Today I used A/C pro Professional Formula Refrigerant before using this my compressor clutch was not engaging. I filled it to the proper level and stopped. I was hoping that it would blow cold air but it still will not. I felt the lines and the top one was not cold and the bottom line was hot. If anymore information needed please let me know. Let me know what I should do next.
thanks

I would also put 134 with dye in it. Then you might see the leak
also i think the compressor is supposed engage/disengage during operation. so if it's cold your good

Quick update. I noticed that when i am going up hill and using higher RPM's my ac starts to blow through defrost vents. Could a leak in the vacuum lines/reservoir, also cause freon leak?

Compressor questions. My compressor will run for about 2 seconds then cut off. My refrigerant reading goes up for the 2 seconds the compressor runs and then cuts and the reading goes back down. Can someone let me know if this means i need more R-134A?

Mine would not blow cold. Lucky for me, at my school they have a vacuum and compressor and anything else you would need for an A/C system. I took the old freon out and depressurized the lines. Then created a vacuum or tried to take all the air I could out of it. I let the vacuum sit for about an hour. Then I put the correct amount of freon in and now it blows cold at about 42 degrees

Just wanted to give y'all an update. I got the freon in the Jeep and now the compressor will run all the time. But i do have a freon leak and also a vacuum leak. Any pointers on how to go about fixing these items?

As far as the refrigerant leaks - best course of action is to use a R134A refrigerant with dye added. Most of the refills do already have that additive. Also, pray it's not your evaporator because that is a royal pain in the **** to DIY, and expensive it you take to a mechanic. I did it last summer, and it took me about 7 hours and a bunch of busted knuckles.
