Default A/C Accumulator removal

I am going to replace the compressor and accumulator in my 2000 XJ this weekend - it looks like the accumulator has some weird looking fittings - any special tools or tecniques for removing it?

thanks!

Go to your local parts store and pick up an A/C line removal tool. I bought mine in various sizes that also came with transmission and fuel line disconnects for ~$12.

Our '98 has 4 quick connects, 2 at the firewall (evap) and 2 at the cond. U need the tool. I would also recommend replacing the liquid line as it contains the orifice tube (filter).
