How do you get to the A/C Ambient Air Temperature Sensor
What does the sensor do?

That temp sensor has nothing to do with air conditioning. It's for a temp readout in an overhead console.

Wrong church, wrong pew.

Is this a 2000 XJ you are talking about.

Who's gauges? An AC shop or one of those gauges connected to a quick refill bottle?

Can you see if the compressor clutch is engaging when the engine is running and AC is selected?

Is it possible that the compressor clutch plate is worn and engages intermittently. You can determine if this is the problem by visual inspection. You will hear the compressor clutch energize but the compressor does not start turning. If this is the problem, remove the clutch plate and remove one or both of the shim washers. If this is not the problem, continue troubleshooting.

If you have rust spray on the bottom side of your hood above the compressor the clutch has been slipping.

Replaced the sensor/switch that goes in to the back of the dryer. That seemed to keep the air temperature cold and constant.

The problem now is my Blower is intermittent I am trying to make sure it is the Blower and not some other problem.
Any ideas?

If blower appears to shut down when accelerating, you may have a vacuum leak in line from reservoir ball to firewall. Blower just seems to be shutting down in this case; vent doors are defaulting to defrost. See multiple current threads on this subject.
