Busted my transfer case

So I'm going down the road to go wheelin an my transfer case busted huge hole in the side it was full of fluid no idea what happen. My question is when I buy another what can I do to beef it up? Thanks

Only way to beef is up is to replace it with something stronger.But the question is how and why did it break tho?Do you have any type of armor under the jeep?Do you have a sye on the jeep?

Not enough information to help photos of the transfer case would help also as to where the case broke then open it up and see what really happened.
Those things don't just happen out of the blue, most of the times its neglect not saying that is your problem but a lot of the time.

It could be neglected I just put a t case in it I'm thinking it ran low on fluid now cause it was smoking bad so I think it got really hot an blew out the side I will try an get pics

The Devil is always in the details.
You need to have a checklist of everything you need to check "Every time" you work on it!
Then at least once a week check "ALL FLUID LEVELS" at the very least and make sure electrical system is working lights, shift linkages transmission, transfer case are working properly.
Make it a HABIT and do vary from it, will save you a lot of money over the years.
