yessir. You won't even notice the difference. Throw it in the scrap heap and never look back.

You WILL notice a difference , and u won't be able to tow anymore

On corners you'll experience body roll and increase chain of roll over ... Just have to be careful on corners

As far as towing goes u won't be able to without some rear wobble which will make your trailer wobble side to side as well

Trust me .... I roll without my rear sway and u do know the difference if it's on or off .... But it's safe enough .... Take it easy on corners and no towing

Will the sway bar mounts in the front work for the rear after I replace them with longer ones? I tow a lawn trailer 3 out of 7 days aweek

you may notice if you're leaf springs are completely shot. but otherwise, that pencil thin sway bar is useless.

Even the UpCountry packages didnt even come with rear sway bars.

I wont even be bothering with a front swaybar let alone a rear, its a jeep not a honda, its not gonna be winning any auto x events, so slow down around coners and save the outside edge of these grossly expensive tires.

besides, going fast into a corner sucks, waiting for it to rain or snow, going into a corner slow and putting your foot down in the middle and powersliding out of the corner is WHERE ITS AT. (I've raced for many years dont try this if you only go to soccor and back) Peg leg jeeps need not apply lol.

yes, some jeps come factory without them, its useless. The only thing a swaybar really does is preload the springs. If they are already loaded it wouldnt make a difference, I've towed a ton of trailers including 5000 + lb single axle trailers that are SHORT, and never in a million years on anything I've towed with have I thought. Gee a swaybar would make this all better on the rear.

My .02

Default Morning JY run pays off...

Spent a few hours at the pick-n-pull this morning. I could spend days here! Came across some good stuff, a lot of it is in the mass of this thread already...

My goal was to find a factory front skid and 97+ side mirrors... no dice, however....

1. 95 Ranger extended cab cargo net (will probably go on back of rear seat, or drivers door panel)

2. Same ford ranger has retractable cargo cover that i believe will fit the jeep with a mounting mod and hooks for the rod to rest on or clip into when "covered"

3. 90ish Full Size Chevy PU - passenger side fender well has a retractable single bulb trouble light. (not sure where it will go yet)
Name: photobucket-6084-1317498949556.jpg

4. 88 Cherokee clock bezel (my 95 sport does not have one)
Name: photobucket-2612-1317498950963.jpg

Size: 25.8 KB

5. 2000 Monte Carlo rear view mirror - has map lights. saw this in the mass of this thread last night. picked one up, now just need to figure out how to wire it up)

6. Misc interior hardware from misc cherokees

7. Multiple (6-8) interior tie down rings. Came from Grand Cherokee. This particular donor vehicle had 4 on the interior panels in the cargo area. (no rust!!) Durangos have 2 inside the rear latch that are a little bigger but if you have ever seen a late 90s rusted out durango lift gate, you can imagine what the rings look like...

8. 94 Cherokee - Center console lid latch.

9. GMC/Chevy full size service fan - electrical/plumbing/HVAC contractors and companies - These are my favorite... They always have the partition between the front seats and cargo area. Always looking for racks, shelving, etc. I pulled a center console metal box that will go in the rear of the jeep for misc tools/straps/cables.

10. Drivers side female seatbelt buckle - mine does not latch. Someone had already pulled this part and it was laying on the hood of one of the donor cherokees above. Sweet!!

Upon departure, I stop into the office and have the guy come out to tally up my bill and he says.... "Does $20 for everything sound good?" Why yes sir it does. Thank you. See you next week. :-)

Headed to the jy I wanted to know if any body knows what year camaro to get the spring isolators from?? And the list said I could use zj isolator as well and they can be stacked. Any idea how much lift they give? I'm only looking to clear 31-10.5r15 as a mall crawler.

How much weight you towing? I towed my boat with mine and it's lifted 5 inches with 33's didn't have any problems at all towing. Barely felt any different.

I pulled mine off a 98. I think that bodystyle is a better bet, personally.
