What modification is required to use the stock JK shocks for up to 3" of lift?

Started my junk yard build with a 91 amc 4.0 ho solid little jeep no rust Alberta car started off with swapping the rear to coils from a 2000 grand cherokee front springs and double stacked spacers from a 1990 f150 , stearing box from a 02 Durango kept all factory gears with a welded straight bar in the rear end for a little more pull had some old junk sitting around made a 68.0 mm throttle body spacer out a old block of scrap took hours !!!! Cut down the old plumbing and shaped up a snorkel loud but works great. Replaced fan for a double fan from a honda civic works great but melts a few switches every couple weeks, started to do a removal of the body from the rear doors back to make a mini box and start to support it a little better thinking about removing the hole body some how but do to unibody is this even possible ? If some one could shine some light on my problem please ?!?!? And one last thing only 20 and this is only my fourth cherokee so knowledge is always wanted thanks.

BPE's, that's all. You need at least a 2" lift too.

I've heard complaints about lack of droop with the fronts. If I have a bpe upfront will I get enough droop?(I will be running 33s on 3in so droop will be pretty much all I'll have in terms of suspension travel.)

Cant say for sure. If you see my build thread, you can see a comparison on the rears from a 5100 to a jk. I'll do the same when I swap out the front. The jk's are about an inch longer than the 5100's for a 2-3" lift.

Any year s10. Or any 2.5" wide leaf spring for that matter. Mine came from a dodge dakota.

Default The Rear CHRY's 8.25

Hey guys, Just a random question about an Idea I have been thinking about when it comes to fixing things in the Rear diff. 8.25..

Specs
95 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4 27 spline rear axle

Is it possible to just swap the carrier & 27 spline axles -- Over to 29-spline axles and carrier with same gear ratio??? Without replacing pinion?

it is, but you'd still need to adjust the gears, so it's pointless to do that just to avoid removing the pinion.

It is not a good idea, ring and pinion's are lapped in together from the manufacturer, so they are a matched set. The pinion depth and backlash is then marked on the gears so they can be re-setup just like they were when they were lapped together. Mix and match will give you noise and most likely a high wear rate.

Thank you for the reply's.
On another question regarding Rear Diff.
When swapping the whole Rear axle Assembly, Does the front axle and rear axle gear ratio need to be the same?
