So I was removing my ignition switch from the column when I found this small piece of cast metal thats part of the drive that goes into the ignition switch. has anyone replaced this part. it looks like it can be unscrewed from the column but the parts catalog only lists the entire column with no breakdown

 

Giant catastrophe averted.. when you type in the magic words to google...you get a hundred hits for Ignition switch actuator pin and get the whole assy for 15 bucks on amazon. 2 torqx screws and the cover comes down and there is this plastic cage and the metal shaft assy that pops right into place...whew
