The cigarette lighter outlet on my 99 is acting like it is tripping a circuit breaker or something. The accessory outlet works fine but when I plug the same device, cell phone charger or Sirius radio, into the cigarette lighter the device switches on and off approx every second and there is a clicking noise.

Any suggestions on where I should start looking?

 

Check the wiring on the back of the cigarette lighter. The connection could be coming off.
