Breaklight problems
Eh guys I have no break lights. Fuses are good headlights, park lights all work just feelin what everyone thinks have dug any deeper. 88 Cherokee pioneer

Hey Hampton, there's an active thread going on right now regarding a similar break light issue. Most likely, your break light switch. Failure is relatively common and there might have even been a recall on '88s.

X2 more then likely it is the break light switch.

Yeah, some phone apps won't let you click on links...
Stick your head into the driver's side footwell and push the brake pedal with your hand. You should hear the click of what sounds like a relay (you don't need to have the key in). If you don't hear that sound then the problem most likely lies with your brake light/shift interlock (if it's an auto) switch. The switch is mounted near the brake pedal arm.
If you hear the click then I would recommend wedging a stick between the driver's seat and brake pedal, then checking the voltage at the brake bulb socket and working your way back through the harness until you get to the switch.

I don't know what that is (but I probably should). And what worked when you pulled it out? Your BRAKE lights?
