New brake parts all the way around:
New rear drums & shoes, front rotors & pads & calipers
Full brake line bleed/flushed with new brake fluid.
Checked, double checked and triple checked. Clean brake job.
Why is my [BRAKE] dash light still on??
I don't think it an obvious solution, but hey, maybe you thought of something I haven't.

could be a number of things, really.
do you have good brake pedal pressure?
as mentioned, could be a switch. there are three. one on you handbrake, one on your brake pedal, and one in your proportioning valve.
i doubt it is handbrake or foot brake switch, since you didn't touch any of those. so it could be the one in the proportioning valve. but still, you didn't go in there.
so, are your calipers on correctly? bleeder at the top, above the lines?
rear brake cylinders, again, bleeder at the top?
any leaks? master is full of brake fluid?
does your jeep have ABS?

When you pumped the brakes to bleed....the side you were bleeding had less pressure than the others and that tripped the switch in the proportioning valve.

Brake pedal pressure seems good.
I'll have to check the mentioned switches- thanks for the tip.
Calipers and brake cylinders are correct w/ bleeders on top.. no leaks, master cyl is full.
No ABS

I had a wheel cylinder changed for my drums. The shop left air in mine and my light was on. Idk if yours are spongey but I'll never trust a shop again to bleed my brakes. I'd check there first since it's pretty easy to do because my abs light went away after I got all the air out.

My guess would be that the brake pedal is going lower due to air in the system. Bled the brakes again. In my opinion a gravity bleed works best in these cases.

IDK about XJ's circuits, but my WJ's brake light will come on if the ABS light bulb burns out. My ABS hasn't worked in 8 years. I KNOW....you don't have ABS.

Problem: I had just changed my brakes and rotors. When I was done I started my car and disengaged the brake servicing system which in turn enabled my parking brake. Along with the parking brake were the yellow and red errors on my dash screen as well as the parking brake button flashing.
Solution: I unplugged my battery for 20 minutes. After I turned my car on, the lights were still flashing. I switched to drive and hit the gas a little but I was unable to move due to parking brake. After I hit the gas I was prompted to turn off the parking brake which was finally successful and is now working fine. Hope this helps!

believe it or not, you have to press hard on the pedal with the engine running. the master cyl has to have the vacuum assist to turn out the light.
Yes, I've run into this as well on my 2014 where I had to try multiple times to get it out of the brake service mode.
